Day 1 (Vancouver to Whistler - by Rocky Mountaineer Rail)

Travel aboard the Whistler Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to the resort town of Whistler, renowned for
outstanding skiing and year-round outdoor activities. Following your motor coach transfer from Downtown Vancouver,
board the train for a breathtaking rail journey through the stunning scenery of the “Sea to Sky” region. Highlights of the
trip include spectacular views across Howe Sound and the Coastal Mountains, Shannon Falls, Mount Garibaldi, and
the impressive Cheakamus Canyon. Upon arrival at the Whistler train station, you will be transferred to your overnight
accommodation in Whistler Village. Breakfast is served onboard.

Day 2 (Whistler to Quesnel - by Rocky Mountaineer Rail)
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the four-season mountain resort of Whistler to the charming rural town of
Quesnel, the gateway to the North Cariboo region. Enjoy breathtaking and varied scenery, from the river canyons and
lush farmlands of the Pemberton Valley, to the desert-like conditions of Fraser Canyon, and the Cariboo Plateau with
its rolling hills and vast ranchlands. Highlights include the shorelines of Anderson Lake and glacial-fed Seton Lake,
sweeping views of Fraser Canyon, and Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world. Your
day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer follows the banks of the Fraser River into Quesnel, your overnight destination.

Day 3 (Quesnel to Jasper by Rocky Mountaineer Rail)
Your journey continues eastward today to the majestic Canadian Rockies and Jasper National Park. From Quesnel, the
Rocky Mountaineer follows the Fraser River northward to the town of Prince George and then travels east through the forests
of Northern British Columbia, home to plentiful wildlife including a large population of moose. Entering the Rocky Mountain
Trench, you are surrounded to the north by the steeply rising Rocky Mountains and to the south by the Cariboo Mountains.
Continue climbing past Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), and
through the Yellowhead Pass, into the province of Alberta. Your rail journey ends today on arrival in Jasper.
Overnight in Jasper.

Day 4 (Jasper and surroundings - Independent)
Discover colourful Jasper at your leisure. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 5 (Jasper to Banff - by Coach)
Start the morning with a refreshing hike in Maligne Canyon, one of the world's largest and deepest limestone gorges
criss-crossed by 6 narrow bridges. Head south on the Icefields Parkway and experience the thundering waters of
Athabasca Falls, picturesque Peyto Lake, and majestic Castle Mountain. At the Columbia Icefields, ride the "Ice Explorer "*
on the Athabasca Glacier! Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 6 (Banff National Park - by Coach)
Enjoy scenic views, including the spectacular Lower Falls as you walk through Johnston Canyon. At Lake Louise, stroll
the shores of the glacier-fed lake and enjoy the atmosphere of the world-famous Chateau Lake Louise. Afternoon
highlights include Moraine Lake, the Banff Springs Hotel, the Upper Hot Springs* and views from the top of Sulphur
Mountain*. Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 7 (Banff to Kelowna)
Re-board your coach and head west, following the Trans-Canada highway back into British Columbia. Catch a
glimpse of the Spiral Tunnels in Yoho National Park, then follow the historic route of the Canadian Pacific Railway
as it climbs through Rogers Pass, high in the rugged selkirk Mountains. In the afternoon, arrive in Kelowna, in the
heart of the Okanagan Valley, famous for its orchards and wineries. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of your
day strolling the beach at Okanagan Lake or exploring Kelowna core lined with shops, parks, and outdoor cafes.

Day 8 (Kelowna to Vancouver)
After breakfast, explore the Okanagan Valley's fruit-growing history at one of Kelowna's oldest operating orchards.
Take a free wagon tour and enjoy a complementary tasting of apple ice cider. Next head to Mission Hill Eastate
Winery and enjoy a tour and tasting, followed by lunch on the outdoor patio with gorgeous views across Okanagan
Lake. Your trip continues through the cascade mountains, and concludes at Vancouver in the evening.
