Day 1 (Vancouver to Kamloops - by Rocky Mountaineer Rail)

Travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s
interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley,
through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coastal and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-
like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep
slopes and snow sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the
shores of Kamloops Lake and into your overnight destination of Kamloops.

Day 2 (Kamloops to Jasper - by Rocky Mountaineer Rail)
Your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will
be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and
Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today’s highlights include Mount
Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet) and Pyramid Falls, as well as the climb
over the Yellowhead Pass and into Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends upon arrival in the resort town of Jasper this
evening. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 3 (Jasper to Banff - by Coach)
Start the morning with a refreshing hike in Maligne Canyon, one of the world's largest and deepest limestone gorges, criss-
crossed by 6 narrow bridges. Head south on the Icefields Parkway, and experience the thundering waters of Athabasca
Falls, picturesque Peyto Lake and majestic Castle Mountain. At the Columbia Icefields, ride the "Ice Explorer " *on the
Athabasca Glacier! Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 4 (Banff National Park - by Coach)
Enjoy scenic views, including the spectacular Lower Falls, as you walk through Johnston Canyon. At Lake Louise, stroll
the shores of the glacier-fed lake and enjoy the atmosphere of the world-famous Chateau Lake Louise. Afternoon
highlights include Moraine Lake, the Banff Springs Hotel, the Upper Hot Springs and the views from the top of Sulphur
Mountain. Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 5 (Banff to Kelowna - by Coach)
Re-board your coach bound for the world-famous wine country of the Okanagan Valley, home to sandy beaches, wineries, orchards and gardens. Arrive in Kelowna in the afternoon. Enjoy a breathtaking tour and sample wine from one of the best
wineries in the region. Your tour continues south through the sunbelt cities of Peachland and Summerland. Take in the
spectacular view of the Okanagan Lake before arriving in Kelowna. Overnight in Kelowna

Day 6 (Kelowna to Vancouver - by Coach)
After your breakfast, relax on the sandy beaches of Okanagan Lake or stroll along the heritage downtown core lined with shops, parks, and outdoor cafes. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are many opportunities for parasailing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle-boating. On your way back to Vancouver, stop at the colorful fruit & vegetable stands in Keremeos, an agricultural community in the beautiful Similkameen Valley. Arrive in Vancouver in the evening.
