Day 1 (Vancouver to Jasper)
Depart from Vancouver, and drive through the fertile land of the
Fraser Valley and Coastal Mountains. Your coach will enter the
heartland
of B.C. at Kamloops, then follow the North Thompson
River toward the Albreda Glacier. Overnight in Valemount.
Day 2 (Jasper to Banff)
This morning, begin with an orientation tour in Jasper townsite, the earliest fur trading post in the Rockies. Stop for an optional hike at Maligne Canyon before heading south along the world-famous Icefields Parkway to take in some of nature's most breathtaking mountain scenery. Have your camera ready for possible wildlife sightings! Highlights include thundering Athabasca Falls, the Crowfoot Glacier and Peyto Lake. At the Columbia Icefield, ride the "Ice Explorer " and take a walk on the Athabasca Glacier. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 3 (Sightseeing in Banff National Park)
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Banff National Park. Traverse the catwalks clinging to the sheer walls of Johnston Canyon and discover the magical beauty of Lake Louise. Other highlights include a gondola ride up Sulphur Montain, the Banff Springs Hotel and Upper Hot Springs. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 4 (Banff to Vancouver)
This morning, enjoy a drive through Rogers Pass, the highest pass in the Rockies. On your scenic return journey through Yoho National Park, catch a glimpse of an engineering marvel: the Spiral Tunnels. Arrive in downtown Vancouver in the evening.
*Ice Explorer tour on the Athabasca Glacier, canoeing on
Lake Louise, the spa at the Upper Hot Springs and a gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain are among the highlights of this tour.
